As a retired pastor, I have a strong desire to see Christians stand up for Christ, no longer shrinking back to be politically correct. The purpose of my blog is to address key questions facing the church and believers in our culture today. God is looking for men and women of courage, to be strong and stand up for Him. The church is full of people who are playing Christian thinking they are saved. They come into church and sing, listen to the pastor, smile, walk out the door, and live like the world. It breaks my heart to see believers so deceived. When I first came to the Lord, Jesus was Lord--but not Lord of my life. Things changed when I had my first encounter with the Holy Spirit and I came to know that God was real--not someone who was God of a book but God of my life. He was real and I had a choice: do things His way or my way. I decided that He was the author of life and death. He was the one who was going to decide heaven or hell for me. So I decided to do things His way, no longer just talking the talk, but I needed to walk the walk, not compromising His Word.
